Tiff Macklem is Chair of the Expert Panel on Sustainable Finance, appointed by the federal government.  The Panel issued its final report on Sustainable Finance earlier this year which can be viewed here:

Mr. Macklem has a bachelor’s degree in economics from Queen’s University, and a master’s degreeand PhD from Western University. He is now the Dean of the Rotman School of Management at the University of Toronto. 

Prior to moving to Rotman, he was the Senior Deputy Governor of the Bank of Canada (2010-2014,) and the Associate Deputy Minister of Finance and Canada’s Finance Deputy at the G7 and the G20 (2007-2010.)

Since joining Rotman, Mr. Macklem has chaired the Global Risk Institute and Ontario’s Panel on Economic Growth and Prosperity.  He is a Director of Scotiabank, a member of the Asian Business Leaders Advisory Board, and a member of Georgian Partners Advisory Board.
